Happy New Month. It is my prayer that you will take possession of what the Father has for you this month.
I want to admonish you with Galatian 4:1 (NLT).
It reads: Think of it this way. If a father dies and leaves an inheritance for his young children, those children are not much better off than slaves until they grow up, even though they actually own everything their father had.
To take delivery of our inheritance in Christ involves growing up to maturity from childhood to adulthood. Maturity helps you to have the full understanding of your inheritance and patiently wait for the appointed time. If you get it before you are ripe for it, you will waste and lavish it, just like the prodigal son. You will fully maximise the usage of it when you are fully formed and matured.
A matured Son does not cry over the will of His own father, it will be a big shame. A mature Son takes possession of the inheritance of his father at appointed time according to what the father has written down.
Many of the things we cry over as believers today are unnecessary and uncalled for and it is an indication of many things that are lacking in our lives and lack of knowledge of who we are in Christ.
Are you truly a son who has the right to the Father’s inheritance? Remember the scripture which says to as many as receive him He gave power to become the children of God. Are you matured yet to take possession of your father’s inheritance? Do you know what is written in the will concerning you?
You need to examine your life. If all the questions above are YES, then, wait for the time appointed. Keep growing in the grace and knowledge of the father.
This month of August will be a glorious month for you as you consider these things.
